Thank you!

Blimey - these shots are superb? How do you do it?

by pressing the printscreen button....

Noddy, that is very sad, have you checked with the A2A site, they are usually very good with their service.

I still love this big bruiser!

I had a very dear friend back at Popham ( no longer with us sadly) who used to fly these in the RAF in Burma during the war, despite its size they were very agile! he said the only problem with them was they had no floors so your pencil had to be attached to the lapboard with a string becuase if it wasnt and you dropped it you would never find it again until you rolled the plane on its back , and then you were showered with dozens dropped by others, as well as sundry tools droped by the erks during maintenance. Apperently because Burma was very dusty they used to leave the cockpit open after take off ,perform a roll, and this would eject the majority of the soil, dust , pencils, tools etc and perhaps the odd stray cat :)

On a similar subject I have just read a book named "i flew for the fuhrer" in which the author describes in the latter parts of the war that these planes were absolutely everywhere, and in 1 chapter he describes having 8 on his tail and despite being badly shotup , and losing power, he somehow managed to decellerate rapidly forcing the closest to overshoot him, so he tagged him, but the 7 behind quickly put an end to his flying for the day.
