  1. Hi Mut OK my friend I'll do that and see waht happends. :atwc:
  2. Hello Mut Finally found maps ini :atwc: and need to ask you the following: should I change the whole line SERVICE=g+++++.++ Version=&v=24 and just leave SERVICE= google.com and the second line that reads SERVICE=v+++++.t Version=jpeg?=g=52 to just SERVICE=virtualearth.net
  3. Hi there Mut Did the whole thing again: downloaded maps2bgl zip to my H hard drive. Once there opened and extracted the zip and then runned the setup. This created maps2bgl icons on the desktop and taskbar. Then went to Google and created, named and saved the KML file of the area that I am looking to upload in Google. Then clicked the maps2bgl icon so as to load the KML and start the process, and I keep getting the same pop up window saying: service not configured. I must be missing something
  4. let me know how it goes! as for the others out there, and, Ol' Mutters, this includes you too as i think you'll like this app very much, take a look at the website here (p.s. you'll probably need to translate the page from German if the translated page link i posted doesn't work properly! Hello: well being so new on all this I just can't find the .ini file in the main Maps2bgl folder which is located on my H hard drive. All I see is the Maps2bgl zip which I have opened. Can you furteher explain where to go to find this .ini file
  5. Hi you mean that besides having the Google Earth I might need a map service configured? I am real new onto all this, can you elaborate a little more
