Tecaty Express

Due to issues with corruption in my AH file it is with a sad and heavy heart that I announce the closure of Tecaty Express. I had finally made it up to 59% rep before this happened so I am destroyed. I will be returning with a new Company but will no longer be posting as Tecaty Express. I will from now on in be posting under my real name so look for the new company in the very near future ( possibly later today ). Having learned a lot from my initial company I expect that my new venture will be very profitable from the start. See you all In the skies soon .

Press Release From Tecaty Express Today has seen another step forward for Tecaty Express with the announcement of another airframe being added to the fleet . CEO and Chief Pilot Steven Wilkinson has this to say . "We were looking for an aircraft that could hold more cargo then our current Cessna but still be cheap to run and maintain. After extensive research and testing we focused on the Gippsland GA8 Airvan. Now I know that many of us flying AH will be using other addons so it got me thinking . What add ons do you use to enhance your experiance. My list Flight Commander 9 Vox ATC 6 FaceTrackNoIR REX Ultimate X Canada. as well as various payware and freeware aircraft.

I use a third party addon for my flight planning. FSX flight plans are terrible to be honest and since I know where my flights are going its easy for me to save and load known flight plans. Plus I have the ability to use SIDS and STARS if required by Vatsim .

Welcome. Enjoy the flying and making the dosh but just be careful of those little things that can and generally will go wrong . Oh and be very very wary of any pilot who has said they have worked for any of the other freight companies around . There is a reason they dont work there anymore. Nothing to do with Australian DIrt track racing as far as I am aware , I am involved in Dirt Track Speedway and Dirt track karting but the name is actually derived from my three children Teliqua , Caitlyn and Tyler so TE CA TY . Well after recieving a letter from FedEx requesting that I not have my fleet in a simular scheme to theirs and also the rego mix up the 182 went back into the paintshop . This has been a costly exercise for me and my finances are really stretched . Hopefully no one complains about this new scheme for my fleet which may or may not include an Gippsland Airvan that has been seen parked outside the Tecaty Express hanger in the last 24-48 hours. Rego is C-RDRG , it was VH-AJF but since it got moved to Canada I changed the rego . Didnt know about the balance so will have to change that

So just an update on what has happened. After discussions with my lawyers and the RCMP the following has happened. I have gotten my FOB at Red Deer returned to me as this was purchased with my own money. The RG on the other hand was purchased with funds that were obtained via illegal methods and has been seized to be auctioned. All money earned by the use of the RG has also been seized due to being obtained via an illegal method. News Release . Due to ongoing Investigations from the RCMP I have had to shut Tecaty Express for good. It seems that my major investor was not as forthright with where he obtained his wealth as he would of liked everyone to believe and they have seized my C 182 and FOB . This is heart breaking for me as I was really starting to build a great reputation and almost started making money after being in the red for a while . Wow what a busy 48 hours for me . After signing all the paperwork and getting my hanger space at CYQF ( Red Deer Regional ) I hopped a shuttle flight to Calgary and then caught a Canadian Virtual Express flight out to Vancouver to pick up my little 182. Pre flighted and then shuttled my baby across the Rockies towards her new home. After sleeping in the area above my office ( to save money as I still havent found a rental property in the local area ) I was up bright and early the next morning to start my first delivery flight. Not really , Most of the job offers I was getting were too long and required multiple trips to achieve . even on shorter flight setting and the like for some reason AH just wanted to give me jobs which required at least 2 flights over 2 hours to achieve . Update to the progress of TEX Due to the severe lack of available jobs for a smaller company in Australia and very little money heading into the company coffers we made the radical decision to close our base of operations and undertake the challenge of searching abroad for better opportunties. We then found a nice little Regional airport in Central Alberta Canada.
