That's a great question and is one that I base my whole cockpit around actually. The only hardware I use are my yokes, pedals, throttle, a few pieces of GoFlight radio equip and headsets. Everything else is virtual. I have found that the best way to build panels in FSPS is create a single structured template that you can use. This way each icon serves the same pupose for the same window in every plane. Only the gauges and bitmaps will change.
