  1. Just published, guest reviewer's Andrew Wang's appraisal of the Carendo V35B Bonanza. Andrew says- "The Bonanza, in both real world and in this addon, is a very unique aircraft. I feel that Carenado put a lot of effort into making this as realistic and as enjoyable to fly as possible. The subtle details ultimately paid off." Read on... Thanks Andrew for submitting this excellent review!
  2. Hot off the press! Just published, Jack Whaley-Baldwin's review of TA Software's Plan-G flight planner. This product has quite rightly been awarded the Mutley's Hangar Award for Excellence and is the first FREEWARE title to do so. Read why...
  3. Please read Kieran Marshall's (aka hurricanemk1c) review of Dave Garwood's Hawker Hunter. Kieran says "The joy of simply jumping into the aircraft, listening to that Avon whine up, then ‘beating up’ the skies reveals a simple theory – jump in and fly, forget the hours of ground school!" Read on...
  4. Just published! We have all been following Tim's adventures in Tanzania, now read Tim's appraisal of the scenery by OpenVFR. Tim says "Terrain also showed a good improvement, particularly with lakes, rivers and coastlines, all of which showed significantly better detail. There are some quite large lakes that simply do not exist in the default scenery, and here they are all present and correct." More here...

  9. Just published, Brian's review of FSAddon's Vancouver +. Brian says- "Jon Patch, Holger Sandmann and the guys at FSAddon have come up with an amazing piece of scenery for FSX. The city of Vancouver really does come alive on screen when flying around it and the same applies to the rest of the surrounding areas. This add-on covers a huge swath of British Columbia, Canada, and I have yet to explore all of it." Read on here ...
  10. Out now! Micke's review of Iceland X, a huge area, does it stand up to Micke's high standards? Read On..
  11. Rob says "It does exactly what it says it will do by making the J41 experience easier, more realistic and much more immersive. You still have to be very hands on and get involved with the checklists, as you would in the real world, but it does cut down on your workload immensely.." Read Rob's latest review here.
  12. Our latest review is by Tim Arnot who has been expanding his Air Hauler empire into eastern Europe, starting in Poland. 16. Good news! We have just published Dai's review on Earth Simulations EScape3D Shawbury Fields for Generation X scenery. 17. Just published Read Joe's review on the interesting Icarusgold Grumman Duck J2F-2/4/5/6 "I think this will perform well on all machines, certainly I had no issues with lag or stutter when changing views. I am not a FPS junkie myself but I can tell when a product is performing well. Even in the pre-programmed flight situations she remained very fluid in action. Generally a fun little package with lots to do so long as realism is not high on your agenda."
  18. Our latest review is Brian's appraisal of the Flight1 - Milz C310 Brian says- "MilViz, synonymous for developing Military Aircraft for the flight sim’ community have pulled the rabbit out of the bag for their first foray into General Aviation. And what a rabbit it is. The C310R has proved to be an excellent first GA aircraft from MilViz and hopefully this will lead to more GA craft coming from their stable" Goto review...

  21. Our latest review is from our Staff Reviewer, Joe Lawford. Bundaberg is situated on the north-east coast of Queensland, Australia. A medium-sized regional airport and close-by to the coral reefs. It was the home of Bert Hinkler the first person to fly solo from England to Australia in Feb 1928 and has a aviation museum and his original house transported brick by brick from the England. Bundaberg is also home to a well known rum, all around the area are sugar cane fields that feed the factory. So how well has Orbx managed to illustrate this wealth of interest? Read on...
  22. Our latest review is from our Staff Reviewer, David Williams There's a lot of interest nowadays in how to make photoscenery more life-like by adding 3d objects. Earth Simulations have developed a set of 3 volumes of high quality bespoke trees which mirror the coverage of the Generation X series of UK photoscenery. But does it make that much of a difference? Read on...

  25. Our first review of 2011 features one of the most romantically popular aircraft there is, the DC-3 Affectionately known as the Dizzie, her distinctive drone and shape has awed aviation fans for several decades in both civil and military guises. Our reviewer recalls flying in her as a passenger so you could say he has first hand experience of an operational craft!
