The line for taxis was huge, but as I stood there pondering my connection, a black guy came up and asked me where I wanted to go. I told him and threw caution to the wind. 35 mins later I was checking in at LaG, $45 worse off ( it was 1979) , but made it. Sometimes you're lucky, eh? Cheers - Dai. Along time ago I used to do roofing for a living all around that area and always enjoyed watching the planes come in to both Laguardia and Kennedy airports.
