ddavid 149
Thought you might like this ILS approach to Queenstown, NZ. Think it's an A320, but you'll tell me if I'm wrong: http://www.flyingmag.com/pilots-places/pilots-adventures-more/video-coolest-instrument-approach-ever?cmpid=enews111913&spPodID=030&spMailingID=18161155&spUserID=NjgzNDE3MzM0MzgS1&spJobID=237969762&spReportId=MjM3OTY5NzYyS0 Fancy doing that? Got a feeling that the vid's speed is double? Cheers - Dai.
brett 2,315
I happened to see this, around a week ago, when I got caught up in one of those 'one after another' video induced addiction escapades, that happens every so often. I watched it like three times, amazed at the approach through the fog layer in such tight quarters, it was almost surreal the way it looked speed up. I am not sure what the plane was either(my guess was a smaller executive type jet) or if the pilot used up the whole runway for the video effect or he needed it's whole length. Thanks for another look at it.
