ORBX Release FTX: NA BLUE Pacific Northwest (PNW) Service Pack 6

Orbx have released Service Pack 6 for FTX: NA BLUE Pacific Northwest (PNW).

 

Service Pack 6 for FTX: NA BLUE Pacific Northwest (PNW) adds new content and fixes a number of issues detected by users and team members.  It is also designed to achieve full compatibility with the newly released airport add-on, FTX: US 05S Vernonia Municipal Airport, and the upcoming FTX: NA CYSE Squamish Airport.

 

Service Pack 6 is for both the DVD and download versions of FTX: NA BLUE Pacific Northwest (PNW).

 

This Service Pack is an update to the previously released Service Pack 5. Ensure you already have Service Pack 5 installed before installing Service Pack 6.

 

Installation of Service Pack 6:

• Ensure FTX Central is set to North America before running this patch to avoid potential error reports regarding airport elevation adjustment files.  Note: The installer will also do this process for you before installation can continue.

Still reinstalling chunks of my software after a pc wipe but will add this to the list.

thanks for the heads up, and the all important reminder about the FTX setting before installation. Still mystifies me why they cant write a script to always set FTX to the correct location automatically... hey ho..

The installer will open FTX Central for you and set it to North America, you just need to close it before finishing the install. It will then open again once the install is completed.

 

I think It is just a warning in case some users machine does not do this as intended, you know how things go sometimes for some users.
