Paul Turnbull 1 Posted December 27, 2013 Report Share Posted December 27, 2013 Hi, I seem to have lost some default grass runway texture files, but terrified of running a Repair from the DVD as I don't wish to spent 4-5 hours setting everything back up if it breaks my add-ons! Is there a way of restoring indivual files from the disc? edit: Had a poke around, and looks like it the "runway13" set of bitmaps that I need to restore. brett 2,310 Posted December 28, 2013 Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 I would think that a repair would only mess up your default aircraft files, back them up or better yet do your normal FSX backups, and give it a go to replace what you need. What have you done recently that might have caused you to lose these files? Can you use a restore point instead? Maybe even a good time to install REX's freeware textures. Paul Turnbull 1 Posted December 28, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 Managed to get my hands on another laptop, did a temporary install of FSX and retrieved a copy of the folder.
