Alan; your touching a nerve for me with these pics
seeing you with these models takes me back to the days i had my own fleet
this used to be my hobby as a child; my dad used to get the air force magazine once a month
the last page always had a cardboard model you had to cut out; roll and glue together
i hated these; as a kid id mess these up; i could never get them done right
until the plastic die cast models arrived; i had well over 40 of them
i haven’t done one in well over 30 years

i always wanted to build a wooden boat model; a big one with lots sails and detailed deck
but it was out of reach in my youth; i could only enjoy looking through the window and drooling
i may have to scratch that old itch if you keep this up
