needles 1,013 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Share Posted August 11, 2014 I saw the BBMF at an air show at East Fortune Air Museum on the 26th July. Stunning! The only disappointment was, they never landed there, instead they just did the show and left for the NE of England somewhere for another show. It's always great to see them. allardjd 1,853 Posted August 12, 2014 Report Share Posted August 12, 2014 When was the Canadian one first restored? I saw one up close at an airshow in Michigan, probably around 1995. I can remember standing up under it with my head inside a bomb bay that was big enough to hold a dance in, but the "depth" was very shallow, maybe only about a foot or a little more.
