Saturn V launch vehicle with both Skylab and Apollo service craft. The kit was bought as the Skylab version but Airfix kindly leave the parts in the box to build both....so I did! It's an old kit now but still looks the business when finished. I like to think I did the old girl justice, so here she is. As usual comments welcome.

saturn 5 , the biggest rocket ever created I think, now replaced by smaller rockets propelled by russian engines with twice the power oof the satrurn 5 hasnt life a few queer turns?

A fantastic model Al, I remember one of my cousins having one and it was huge and I was so jealous!

You did a fine job there, I have seen the real thing at The KSC at Cape Canaveral and nearly broke my jaw when it hit the ground!

Ah, nostalgia Al, Had one of those and the 1/72 scale LM, the eiderdown made a good lunar surface for it to land on. Your painting skills really show, also I notice a few more kits in the background. Should keep you busy. :thum:
