So here she is, SIA's new short-haul aircraft - the MD83! On the ground at The Boeing Field Start up I like test flights! The livery looks smart on the MD-83! Push back Let's cheat, and use 33L And again And again The livery again This great panel Lining up From the 'pit It's easy to tail-strike on the MD-83 Rotate Gear Up Flaps Up Nice climb! The panel Climbing now into the nice, blue sky! Turning to 340 Climbing with KO?? behind Trails Climbing The sun behind the -83 Expect more from this great aircraft! Last time I remember seeing an MD 83 was at my local airport, it had its nose wheel sunk in grass and mud when he attempted to turn the aircraft. It was ok after they towed it out and inspected the gear. It was a charter aircraft that used to do a run to Spain every week. I remember the tower insisted that the captain paid cash for the landing fees on the spot! Happy days! Link to post Share on other sites
