britfrog 180
the tramontana is blowing again at up to 60 knots or more over the next 4 days at LFMP so an ideal time to see if your weather prog works correctly. I have used both FSGRW and Rex this morning with my 210 and found the wind was pushing me backwards on the runway !
ddavid 149
Those flashing lights don't help, either! Bet they're glad to get down... Cheer - Dai.
hifly 925
After those, some of my landings don't seem tooooo bad.
allardjd 1,853
I think they did pretty well, given the conditions. At least the visibility was OK and the runway dry. John
Quickmarch 488
Outa sight! The "Crash 8" is not known for its resistance to shearing off the gear. Might be better just to land ACROSS the runway and make a slow speed turn at the end of the rollout. (Can't post smilies on the iPad but you all get the idea).
allardjd 1,853
Might be better just to land ACROSS the runway... Punch line of an old, old aviation joke - - - "Yeah, but it sure is wide." John

britfrog 180
well two weeks ago we had 140 m.p.h. on the coast and today LFMP is predicting 60+ knots so another great day for crosswinds or hovering exercises. i must say it was entertaining walking the dogs this morning, +3 degrees and blowing a hoolie
