grth_bbtt 0 Posted June 27, 2008 Report Share Posted June 27, 2008 i have been starting to record videos on my pc from my DV Camcorder. however the problem is that whenever i record i get the picture recorded but no audio to go with it. ive tried all types of DV capture software and none capture my camcorders sound. im using a 4pin fireware IEE34 cable. i dont know what model my camcorder is as its a bit dated. bought around 2000-2002. although the make is a samsung. mutley 4,487 Posted June 28, 2008 Report Share Posted June 28, 2008 I Gareth, Other than RTM I don't know what to suggest, does the video play back on the cam corder with sound? If so it's the lead or sound mixer set up on the PC. You just have to keep chipping away at all possibilities, the answer may be hidden away in the manual :-) Cheers Link to post Share on other sites
