CyprusAirwaysA330 0
Some of you may have noticed my absence on the forum during the past week. I was away on a French Exchange with my school, and we flew from London Heathrow (T5) with British Airways to Lyon Saint Expuery (LYS - LFLL), where the exchange took place. Although I took no pictures of the flight, due to it being a school party, I have done the flights on the sim and here is the outbound leg. Here we are at the gate, an A320 today. Half an hour later, we have pushed back, started the engines and recieved our taxi clearance. Faced with a queue for take off for 27L..... Finally reached the front, holding short, looks like there will be some bumps during the initial climb. Turning onto the runway.... ...And accelarating down it. Gear up selected, looking over T3... ...And now T5. Following the SID and up at 6000 feet now, a MID7J departure today. Climbing high over the southern UK now, Isle of Wight in sight. Flying over Woking, the scenery tip given to me by Daveygurm10 really improves the textures. And now over Shoreham, airport in sight. Hmm, some clouds at our cruising altitude of 26,000 feet over the Channel. Land ho!! Ahh, the beautiful French countryside. Steadily cruising... ... The fun commences again, we are going down. Aww, the weather over Southern France doesn't look good, thick clouds below 10,000 feet. Now at 4000, can you see the ground? Holding at VNE, as extra separation is required for the CAT3 arrivals. Still holding..... ...Now heading to waypint CF36L Spoilers required for a rapid slow down. Ahh, no clouds over the airport anymore, banking for a quick approach in.... ...And established, gear down, three greens. "Retard, retard" And down, slowing rapidly.... Off the runway, taxiing back.... ...last few seconds of movement, approaching the gate... ...and shut down. Hope you enjoyed my shots, I have been working very hard to improve my AA, and hopedfully you will agree that the shots look much better. Comments and constructive criticism gladly welcomed. PS. If they take a long time to load, that is because they are .png files. Sorry to those on dial up
