Taxi to parking.  Wonder what a C-117 from New Jersey is doing in Frankfurt.

Did I mention that TCAS saved my life and that of my passengers?  Cruising at 23,000ft and suddenly the TCAS alert sounded and the TCAS display changed to red!  Another aircraft at the same altitude heading right for me.  TCAS instructed me to climb and I could see the other guy was told to descend.  So I did as instructed.  ATC did not alert me until after TCAS safely averted a disaster.

Great set of shots. Don't expect too much from the FSX ATC , lol.

Who knows, what is that red-white striped thing in the background on the last shot...the one with the C-17?? Sometimes, i'm seeing that too, but only on large airports, never on small ones. It can be "fixed"??

You are likely seeing jet blast shields, as Brett says.

On my next leg (i'll post when I get a chance), TCAS activated again.  Here are a couple of shots so that you can see, in case you have never seen it in action.

In the second shot you can see the A340 that was heading toward me.  I was already climbing through 16,000 ft so the instruction for me to climb was already underway.  The Airbus was descending which you may be able to see in the TCAS (there is a down arrow next to him on the display). For some reason the TCAS voice is British.
