J G 927
Every time I want to use Plan-G when using FSX, and that is always, I have to great a plan (I do this in Plan-G) export it as an FSX plan, ship it across to my FSX PC and then load it into FSX. The shipping is not to difficult as the PCs are networked but loading it twice is a pain. Is it possible for Plan-G to read an FSX plan from FSX its self and run from that? What I would like to do is to load the plan once and then use it on both pieces of software. JG
allardjd 1,853
John, Yes. File -> Open -> Select FSX/FS9 files from the file type dropdown at the lower-right and your saved FSX flight plan files will appear. Select one and it will be loaded into Plan-G. Piece of cake. J G 927
Thats what I do now JA, I still have to load it into FSX for an IFR flight. - So I load it twice. I am just lazy and I want to load it only once. Plan G connects to FSX to display progress along the route. I would like it to be able to feed the route to fsx. Pie in the sky probably. allardjd 1,853
As far as I know, that's not possible unless Tim Arnot revises Plan-G to do so.
