CyprusAirwaysA330 0
Well, as it is now approaching the Summer holidays for me (we break up tomorrow), I have decided to commence a world tour. There are a couple of small rules which I will follow to make it an interesting and varied tour: Aircraft will for the most part be payware. The tour is only allowed to be flown with Airlines in the Oneworld Alliance, with real schedules followed. All flights will be in real time. Well, here we are, starting with the first leg. A short leg, with a BA A319, Heathrow to Edinburgh (BA1458). The flightplan: At the gate at Heathrow's T5: Pushing back, starting the engines: Taxiing to 09L: Turning onto the runway: Accelarating: Up, up and away - passing T4: Following the SID, a compton departure this afternoon: Climbing high over England: Cruising now: Heading North: Commencing our descent: Over the North Sea at 4,000 feet in clouds: Gear coming down: Forth bridge in the distance: Finals: Slowing: Taxiing in: Parked up, first leg completed: The second leg now. This is another BA service to London, this time to Gatwick with the B733. (BA2945) The flightplan, over the Irish Sea: Now raining in Edinburgh, here is the aircraft: Taxiing out past an A320: An Easyjet bound to Gatwick, like me: Holding short: Easing the nosewheel up: Last look at Edinburgh: Banking towards Manchester: Climbing, cockpit view: Cruising: Banking over Manchester: Dark now: Going down again: Over London now; Established on the localiser, another low visibility approach: Finals: Smooth Autopilot touchdown: Turning off the runway: Parked up, second leg completed: Thanks for looking, comments/constructive criticism welcomed. Next 2 legs to come very soon, including a long haul to an exotic destination.

Glad it's your summer holidays tomorrow, and I'll be heading to England tomorrow as I finished on Friday  OK - so where do you live? The only place I knoe to get off early is Ireland. And finally, is that the Wilco A319 I see before my eyes? If so, you really show off the aircraft well :dance2: :dance2: Kieran

Yes, that is indeed the Wilco A319, and it will feature again in the tour, but with different colours. :dance2:
