The last one was, I believe a third stage compressor wheel failure, or something internal to the engine at any rate, during the take-off roll with a high power setting. This was a fuel leak, while taxiing. The AC taxiing behind reported the leak before the fire. John 1 Link to post Share on other sites

Lauderdale Airport over the weekend watching the planes and saw the Dynamic 767 parked near the end of the runway. Could not see the left side where the fire was but I could see the right side baggage door was open and it looked like someone tried to stuff the escape slide in there. Weird.
