DC10 FIRST GO...

Recommended Posts

I recently got this on the cheap from JF, its the FLITE version which seems to mean you dont really have to worry about the FMC except for calculating the V's......It seems ok, I am getting an issue on takeoff where I seem to be climbing to steeply nearly causing a stall, eventually get in under control and start with the automation.....I prefer Aerosofts A320, however they are basically opposites so there is no comparison, but just really liked the look of this and the price was good to....not brilliant pictures but I was busy 'learning'.....recently bought CS777 but was dissappointed at the lack of a tutorial (have the manuals) so that just sits there in the hangar, once bitten and all that dont want to wast money...

I have the DC-10 F-Lite. You need to adjust the trim wheel to the take off position prior to take off.  Off the top of my head I cannot remember the exact trim setting, but if you have it properly trimmed prior to take off you should be ok. The user manual  has a training flight which specifies the proper setting.
