ddavid 149 Posted September 18, 2008 Report Share Posted September 18, 2008 The sun came out over Pembrokeshire today, and everything is drying out nicely after nearly 2 months of damp weather. And, as if to celebrate, my friend The Sun decided to show off: That's a Sun Dog, on the left. It's caused (correct me Martin!) by ice-drystal diffraction in the stratosphere.
