dodgy-alan 1,587
Using the USS Voyager kit as a basis, The USS Herne is named for the Celtic Warrior/God. She has additional sensors, a cloaking device and captured Dominion technology to enable her to penetrate deep into the Delta Quadrant with little fear of detection. Even if sensors pick her up the light absorbing paint job means she can't be seen on view screens until its too late! The ship is operated by Section 31, The Black Ops section of Starfleet. She does not appear on any Star Trek ship listing and is designed to operate in the shadows. The model took me over a month to build as I wanted to get it exactly as envisaged. Hope you like the results. Thanks for viewing.
dogtrack 346
Nice one !! And I see you are well up with your Star Trek story lines. Have just finished a marathon viewing on Netflix myself. Starting with the original TV series, then Generations, Voyager and DS9. It's taken a few months but have really enjoyed them. Captain Coffee 2,030
Great concept and execution. Starfleet should have some cloaked ships...what better way to avoid interaction with a new species...or B***** Slap an old one getting uppity. I love the shot you took with the cloak engaged so that we can read the base

I built two of them, but since I turned it's cloak on, I can't find the other bugger!
