JPS 0
Was on the social networking site bebo (By the way is anyone else a member here?) and I came across this poem, related to flying. Should my end come while I am in flight, Whether brightest day or darkest night; Spare me your pity and shrug off the pain, Secure in the knowledge that I'd do it again; For each of us is created to die, And within me I know, I was born to fly. I thought it was a pretty cool poem in my opinion

reef 3
Sorry but i don't agree with the points he makes unless he is a Kamikaze pilot. steve
allardjd 1,853
Well, since reef brought it up... The proper way for a pilot to die is in retirement, in bed, at the age of 104, shot to death by a jealous husband. John
reef 3
I think i'm missing something with your response John, maybe a story in the news i did not see ? steve
allardjd 1,853
No, just something to strive for... You don't want to die in an airplane. John
