wain 879
So I blame @Captain Coffee for posting pics of this one, wasn't going to get it but the pics looked so good. This is really nice, I love the weathering really gives the appearance of age, also handles well and the landings I have done have been very good, seems to gently come down with a bit of trim down and slight forward pressure on the controls, however I do have 2 issues maybe someone can give a suggestion or 2....take offs seem ridiculously unreal, I found with no pull back on the controls she just lifts and heads for the sky at a very silly angle, like a jet trying to go virtical, also the GPS on the model shown is so small for my old dodgey eyes and it doesn't pop out as far as I can see so can't move it to my small monitor......other than those 2 it's seems very nice... 2 pictures over my new ORBX Nortthern California....

rosariomanzo 545
A gorgeous model indeed. Maybe you could add a GPS window yourself by editing the panel.cfg.
brett 2,316
I was wondering when you would cave. Good purchase, have fun with it Wayne. Rosario had the same idea I had for Q#2, create your own 2D popup. All I can suggest for #1 is you need to set TO Trim accordingly for weight, you should really never allow an aircraft take off on it's own, also the pilot needs to fly the plane not the other way around so control it where you want it to go and don't let it get away from you(trim as needed).
wain 879
Cheers guys... Yeah I may add a GPS I can actually see without zooming in to much... Done some config changes and it seems to behave a bit better.. There are a few posts on JF commenting on the way it handles so maybe it's not quite there... I did watch a video the other day by a RW 737 pilot.. He was saying how under certain loads you have to push the controls forwards until you hit rotation speed.. Maybe that's the case here.. Do really like it though and once air borne it seems more sedate...
