mutley 4,498 Posted December 21, 2008 Report Share Posted December 21, 2008 Hi, it's been a while since i have posted any screen shots :blush Thinkgs have been really busy recently so hopefully this will go some way to make up for it! I have been flying around my favourite areas of Tahiti looking for a new base for my cargo operation Great British Haulage (GBH) Here are some shots on a flight from Maupiti to Huahine in the Twin Otter. There must be some Tuna around here! Plenty of boxes to fill the cabin. Great British Haulage :mrhappy: Chap on his cell phone trying to book a cheap flight. I'm going to charge him double for being flash! Taxiing down the runway, there are no fancy taxiways here! Fantastic aircraft is the Twotter, her STOL capability makes her perfect for some of the small islands around here. Leaving the atoll behind.... At our cruise. Not that long before we spot land. Through some wispy stuff. Turn onto final. This seems low but we are on the lights and just about to cross the beach. Nearly over the numbers. Campers view, bbq tonight! Yum yum! Again plenty of runway, we have reverse if we need it :yes: Rush hour, the apron is full. More cargo! And this is where I intend to site a new hanger. even the ground work has been done! And the Twotter looks so beautiful. I have got my copy of the twotter already, now just waitng for the system to run FSX. FSX is most definitly doing it for you. Everything looks just perfect. The water, clouds and everything looks amazing. Great post, and the location for your new hangar looks perfect, that view makes me think I would never leave the base. Looks as though I have been there for ages! I like to spread out, boxes everywhere. Shipping containers, drums and a dumped car! Even Mrs Mutley's horse has a place to graze, life is good!
