Exploring Tomato Shade and its model reflection maker (models)

Recommended Posts

So for a long time I've been using PTA tool and preset. Obviously this is a paid tool and is great, but when I heard of Tomato Shade I thought 'ah it's just the same

Tomato Shade can also use PTA presets, so why would I swap?

Simple fact that Tomato Shade is being developed all the time. It also has additional features :) One of them featured is the model reflection maker. This adds more detail to the airplane models reflections using the P3D dynamic reflections.

Here is a before and after...

You know if these reflection profiles work without using Tomatoshade?

Never tried it mate, I think the reflection maker application is stand alone and as far as I'm aware it does not depend on tomato shader.

Those reflections certainly liven up the livery. I use TS but haven't ventured into the reflections yet. :)

You should, I created a few now one being the twin otter - I don't really know what I'm doing but it works lol.
