Lukemeister 6
Hello chaps, i'm back! Basically, I have restarted FS2004. I wish to use it as a commercial flight simulator centered around Britain using Airbuses. Can anyone recommend any great FREE sceneries for Europe? Thanks!!

rob16584 42
Try going to AVSIM/Flightsim.com and do a search in the file libraries for FS2004 scenery, and then display it by most downloads. It works for me, my thinking being that if it has a lot of donwloads, it must be good!
Lukemeister 6
Cheers Rob, I got my computer back today, and installed FS2004 with all my payware sceneries and aircraft. I flew the Wilco A319 from Heathrow (UK2000) to Charles De Gaulle (SimWings). My framerates are perfect. I have FS2004 on some of the highest settings, and my texture loading at most has a delay of around 3 seconds. I'm loving FS now. I could never run the Airbus before due to the fact that it was so FPS intensive, it was like a slideshow! I got my route from vroute this morning, planned my fuel allowances, set off and tried to remember all I could about the Airbus! The result? Well I forgot the ILS intercept button on the radio panel so had to go around again, but I landed ok. However, the ILS didn't adjust the plane vertically, only horizontally? Still landed though
rob16584 42
However, the ILS didn't adjust the plane vertically, only horizontally? IIRC once you have captured the ILS you then need to select the APP button on the Airbus so that it will track the glideslope. This problem has caused many go arounds for me also!
