How would this run FSX?

Recommended Posts

I know... but i've recently been made redundant from my part time job, so unfortunately I can't get everything I wish I could... At least I can always upgrade further down the line!

The 9800 still came third... which is better than the next Nvidia card available with the comp!

sorry to hear that mate, really. It may not be the best you can get for the machine, but you're certainly right about the 9800GTX, its a great card given what else is available on the selection list.

I say go with it, you'll be more than happy, and can always upgrade to a GeForce 3xx card in the near future!

Sorry to bump this thread, but I thought it makes more sense to keep it all under 'one lid'.

My last question before ordering... 32 or 64 bit?!

- Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz Overclocked to 3.40GHz! (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366)

- Gigabyte EX58-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard

- OCZ 6GB DDR3 PC3-10666C9 Gold Low-Voltage Triple Channel Kit

- Akasa AK-967 Nero Direct Contact Heatpipe CPU Cooler

- ATI & Nvidia Graphics Card Options

- Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 32MB Cache

- Samsung SH-S223F/BEBE 22x DVD

The answer I was looking for!

Yeah I was thinking Vista until Windows 7 comes out - if I'll reinstall the beta over Vista I don't know!

With regard to the gfx card, the GeForce GTX 260 "216" in now available, would that be superior? I know it performs worse in the link above, but still... :thum:
