dodgy-alan 1,587
1/96 scale Lindbergh kit. There have been several mods inside it, primarily around the engine trunking which was non-existent. Lots of nose weight needed , a/m decals as the kit ones were too yellowed to use. Primarily base coat is Aluminium 27001 with other variations and finishes around the airframe. Pictures of the model were posted on the Vulcan and Victor website met with a lot of approval from the real experts on the subject, especially given the age and errors on the kit, (it's a 1960s vintage) . I wanted to do something that wasn't white or camouflaged and this looked rather distinctive. She is shown displayed alongside the Victor from a couple of weeks ago. I've also included a photo of the real aircraft. Thanks for viewing, comments welcome.
