dodgy-alan 1,587 Posted June 4, 2020 Report Share Posted June 4, 2020 Goodwood is in our backyard, just 5 miles up the road from my home. My usual hangout during the summer. Now the clubhouse is operational it has a great restaurant with fantastic views of the airfield. On most days you can walk around the pits and paddocks which is especially good on track-days etc as you can get right up close to the cars. This year most things are still restricted due to Covid 19 however Boultbee Flight Academy will begin flying Spitfire Passenger Flights from mid-June. The aircraft are already up and about and the roar of the Merlins is being heard and seen all around the local area.. You've got a great scenery pacckage there, though it appears to have been created before the new Clubhouse was built. The USN Harvard is a regular sight over here as it too belongs to Boultbees.
