ben_davies247 0
The short hop, it's my first sort of (if you can call it) flight in FSX, so the graphics are poor as I haven't managed to have a tweak yet. Here we go... As the DC10 departed in the morning, we had no other means of air transport to KMDW. Luckily, the O'Hare flying club let us use one of their private Learjets. What a nice aircraft she is too I rather like the default FSX panels. Right, with the baton, and the carrier onboard, we have taxied out and are awaiting takeoff clearence. We've got it, and we soar into the air for our five minute trip (literally) Banking on course direct to Midway Our "Cruise" if you like Final approach, told you it was a short flight (14nm) Not my best by far, a very dodgy landing. Easy Slowing Vacated Parked up, baton carrier going to a local hotel for a nights rest. Right, that's the short hop done. Now, about Leg 30, I will try and get it done tommorow, if not, it will have to be Tuesday. Comments welcome as always :-)
ddavid 149
Nice flight, Ben - it's a beautiful little jet. Did you get to return it to Midway after dropping the Baton off at O'Hare? Just looks like you parked at a similar spot at the end - or is it just FSX's default scenery at play here?? The older you get, the more picky you become, I said, the older etc...... Cheers - Dai. mutley 4,498
Thanks for making that hop Ben, I couldn't get on yesterday as my broadband was down. Great shots and nice short pleasure flight. Cheers.
ben_davies247 0
No problem, I'm going to take the Legacy for your leg (30) if you still can't make it. If you can, give me a shout, as I can imagine your shots will do Meigs a lot more credit than mine!
