So this morning the Mutley Crew convened to try out multiplayer as we fly together every weekend and wanted to set the sim up in advance.

The results were very positive, we created a private group and set real world traffic and ai off so we wouldn't be interrupted.  Everything else, weather, time etc was real world. After an initial learning phase of around 30 minutes, to establish the best settings for the group on a shake down flight from London City to Heathrow, we decided on a calmer flight (for those of you in the UK today will know why!) in southern Spain., the experience was incredible, so much so that we will drop P3D and exclusively fly in MSFS.

I have pixelated the names to protect the innocent, here are some shots from our Mediterranean flight:

Thanks James, what we are spared of here is ActiveSky and JoinFS as it is already here in a native version, not to diss Join JoinFS as Pete Memmott made a cracking job when FSX ditched multiplayer.

Before we settled on Gibraltar, we did a quick early morning hop from London City to Heathrow. Well, it was very blustery so more of a bounce than a hop!

The Thames has quite a swell on it, and our initial formation fell apart rather quickly. Perhaps the 152 wasn't the best choice for this flight!

Didn't stop the traditional flight under Tower Bridge though (all default scenery)

Curious thing: if you taxi (or park) too close to the aircraft in front, it turns into a ghost and vanishes! Weird!
