Flit 0
I remember in FS9 one could get into map view then click and drag the tower to wherever you wanted. And one could play with this as much as one wanted for the perfect view (I think it was even possible to adjust height of tower - but I may be confusing this with something else). I've tried the same way in FSX, but it won't let me, or I am doing it wrong? Is it possible, in FSX, to move the tower view about? I really miss watching replays of up close, smoke in the eyes, spray in the face, dive off your chair landings that I used to entertain myself with.
mutley 4,498
Hi Flit, long time no see I have never tried this and I have to admit never used this feature before, of course there is the tower feature in Just Flight's traffic program. It may be that MS dropped this feature in favour of the aircraft views or one of the remote camera programs like Walk and follow. I could be wrong of course and someone else will come up with the answer? I don't have FS9 any more so I cannot even go and look to see how it used to work Nice to see you here. ddavid 149
There's a fairly detailed discussion here, Flit: http://forums.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?p=1270656 Let us know if you get anywhere - it sounds a good idea.... Cheers - Dai.
