mutley 4,498
This is Rob's second article this week is The Netherlands 2000 scenery for FS2004 published by The Netherlands 2000 Design Team. We are planning a new series of reviews on freeware that is, in our opinion, well worth having. Click on the shot to read the review. Any feedback is much appreciated. simi_av8r 0
great review rob.....i'm downloading now! It must be great given the review you gave it, but you could have told us it was 220Mb!!
mutley 4,498
220Mb? pfft! a drop in the ocean But seriously, a good point. I think most decent scenery downloads would exceed this nowadays and with hard disk space being so cheap it shouldn't be an issue? Thanks for the feedback :nea: Cheers
simi_av8r 0
220Mb? pfft! a drop in the ocean But seriously, a good point. I think most decent scenery downloads would exceed this nowadays and with hard disk space being so cheap it shouldn't be an issue? Thanks for the feedback :nea: Cheers No issues with the space, as you say 220MB is a drop in the ocean. The darn scenery just takes forever to download from the AVSim site, even on my 20MB cable! Those AVSim servers don't kick out much more than 45kbps, and generally its around 20kbps... Once i've d/l i'll see if i can upload it again to RapidShare or something, much faster download rates! I always had one problem with the scenery tho! It seems to disapper at EHAM after a few minutes! Random!
allardjd 1,853
The download size is quite large at 222mb, so expect a bit of wait whilst you download it. ...from the review text. Good review, Rob. You're getting prolific... John
