Took the new Carenado Arrow for a spin.

Single (!) engine climb performance is sluggish. You'll get 1000fpm at sea level, but pretty soon you'll be back at 600fpm and 80kts. This ain't no Seminole!03.jpg

After settling at about 5000ft, it cruised along at around 138 true. Aileron response is sluggish - makes it feel like a really heavy aeroplane. On the other hand, the autopilot performed flawlessly, and it picked up the ILS into Hobart with no problem.

The panel looks very much like a single engine version of the Seminole. Not a modern Piper, but not vintage either.

This was the last usable pic, cos it started getting too dark after this. But it was also at this point I discovered the panel & switch lights don't work. Ho Hum. But at least you can use the overhead dome light.191577508_MicrosoftFlightSimulator07_03_202119_25_09.png

Overall, pretty much what you expect from a Carenado. Oh, and it gets broken by Sim Update 3, so if you're thinking of buying, wait for the inevitable update.
