rob16584 42
I decided to stop flights for my VA and reviews today and have some good old VFR fun. So I took off from Bunbury and went for a trip! Ladies and Gentlemen welcome aboard this flight to...to..., well we'll wait and see Gopher cam Crusing altitude is 1,500ft today, no clouds around but we get to see the scenery up close After consulting my KML file in Google Earth with all the OZx airports on, I decided to head for Boyup Brook, just outside Bridgetown. I kept low to the terrain as these airports are not listed in the FSX airport directory. I will be relying on the Mk1 eyeball and GMap for guidance The airport is apparently down this road somewhere, best follow it then! You've gotta be kiddin' me! Oh well, here goes nothing Ladies and Gentlemen we are commencing our final (and quite possibly final) approach into Boyup Brook. Flaps, Check. Landing Gear down, Check. Life Insurance topped up, oh $%&"! Almost there, nice and slow now hmmm, something not quite right here, I appear to have made a perfect landing in a tent After consulting the OZx forums for the WA airports, it would appear the the symbol I interpretted as being an airport, was in fact, a grain silo.
