Jalapenos. The Mexican equivalent of the chill (to an extent).

The problem is, I eat them like a jet eats fuel. I ate a whole jar of them yesterday, and am slightly getting concerned my "addiction" to the spicy treat will lead on to some adverse health effects!

I am aware of some of the various health issues associated with them, but still!

:winka:

If that's the case, you'd be surprised at what else I've eaten...

I'm a chilli maniac. Love the stuff. Once, I managed to get hold of a few slices of the "Naga Chilli"

This is the hottest natural chilli known to man, only surpassed by the GM British Chilli.

The Naga Chill is so hot, it is infact used in weaponry in the Indian Defence Divisions. It can blind you!

Anyway, a SCORCHING hot chilli, but I can't say I didn't enjoy it. I loves the Naga Chilli  .

See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhut_Jolokia_pepper

It has a SR of 1,041,427 (Maximum). It is only 15 times weaker than PURE CAPSICUM, and dear god, you DO NOT want to be eating pure capsicum (to be honest I think it can actually kill you). The Naga Chilli is 400 times hotter than Tabasco Sauce... But TBH Tobasco Source isn't really a good Benchmark!

A good chilli is one that makes your nose run and your eyes water.
