Soya 7
Greetings fellow simmers, I finally managed to find some time to check out the wonderful feelThere Embraer Regional Jet (v2) and the Thirteen Normal Definition liveries from McPhat's World Airlines 1. I am amazed how good these liveries look compared to my most favourite livery types, the McPhat UHDT range. After having being spoiled with the detail and quality of UHDT, I thought ND liveries would look 'dull', but I was wrong. Unless you are going for very close up views, these liveries can still deliver the goods(no pun intended). I feel this is mainly due to the fact that McPhat also added bump & specular mapped add-on to all these liveries, which is probably why I feel they look nearly as good as UHDT. I ended with a select 40 shots from these 13 great liveries, flying in a variety of locations using Aerosoft's great looking VFR Germany and Blue Sky Scenery wonderful photoreal freeware (although paypal donations to BBS are highly appreciated). Also giving a helping hand to these screen shots are the wonderful REX2 and the ENB mod series. No other additives, preservatives or editing, apart from resizing and JPG compression, were used in the making of these screen shots. I was going to post just 20 shots from the 40, but after spending over an hour deciding which shots to post and which not, I gave up and decided to post 30 instead. The entire series can be viewed at your leisure right here: http://s264.photobucket.com/albums/ii17 ... =slideshow Please enjoy: Hope you enjoyed the view. PS. Shots from WA2 & 3 coming soon at a forum near you!
mutley 4,495
Superb advert for the aircraft Soya, sublime shots. Seeing that last one of Delta Connection N842MJ reminds me of a flight we had on one of these from Orlando to Miami in it's brother N837MJ  Here's a cockpit shot I snapped just as we were getting off! Thanks for the memories. Cheers
rob16584 42
Very good shots once again Soya. How is the ERJ to fly?

Soya 7
Thank you all for those wonderful comments & praise. I am glad you have enjoyed my series of shots on these great liveries. Cheers Joe: Great shot there and happy to set off some good memories. Rob: Have not spend a great deal of time with her yet (hard to spread my spare time with all the things I want and can do in FSX) but from the experience so far, she flies really well. Like every plane, it is a learning curve and with my collection of a/c, it will take years to master them all, if not a life time.
TapA321 0
Really nice shots, Soya. Somehow, the plain BMI livery has always struck me as a really nice livery - even though it's very plain. Joe: Nice shot. I've never been on an ERJ, but my Mum used to travel on a BMI one from Heathrow to Durham Tees Valley every month or so, before they stopped the route. Cheers, George
