simi_av8r 0
I've been a bit lax recently with my edits, so thought i'd take the plunge and fire up PhotoShop once again, blow the cobwebs off my Graphics Tablet and churn out another edit....what with it being the 75th anniversary of the Battle Of Britain this year, what better than to choose this as my subject. So, without further ado, i present "Going For The Kill" in a couple of variations - the original and a watercolour effect. In honour of the few, who fought against so many, I dedicate this to them. Original: Watercolour: just to note, if anyone would like the cut outs, background or original shots, drop me a pm and i'll be happy to send them by email.

mutley 4,498
I like both shots very much Simi, the second one would be more in keeping with the era but I do like the clarity of the first. Well done sir!
simi_av8r 0
Thanks for the critiques guys, much appreciated. any suggestions for further editing requirements within the image...?? Does anything standout as needing attention? i think fresh eyes on it other than my own will spot something...
hurricanemk1c 195
Some battle damage on the '109 infront. And maybe some gunfire in the background ('109 to Spit if my eyes are right). Then it would be perfect for me
simi_av8r 0
battle damage is certainly on my to-do for a re-work of this, as is weathering of the spitfire in the foreground... as for the two aircraft at far distance, nearly correct, ME109 versus Hurricane, the latter being preyed upon this time. From this distance, tracers wouldn't usually be visible, and gunfire is very unlikely to have been seen that far away...
