hurricanemk1c 195
Hi all! Following on from JanKees superb artwork collection, here's mine of British aircraft : Lancasters - first one is called 'No Emeny Plane Shall Fly Over The Reich' - fat chance Just Jane, preserved Zombie! A Lanc Mk2, so probably Canadian Mickey the Moocher, the BBMF version Mossie called ? but nicknamed myself as 'The Ghostie' And the Tornado called Debbie : Mig-Eater! And real world examples of Australian crews : Halifax Nose Art links - http://www.chrisbarrett.ca/photogallery/424_noseart.htm http://www.dunrobincastle.com/Nose_Art/ ... _Eagle.htm http://www.motionmodels.com/custom/hphal-1.jpg If anyone knows about my INS issues (see the Aircraft area), please let me know! Thanks for viewing!
ddavid 149
Excellent shots, Kieran! The 'Zombie' is probably EQ Z Zombie of 408 Sqdn RCAF - a nice Mk II. Are you flying the Lanc in FS9 or FSX? If the latter, you may be interested in a couple of missions? The B&W's are great, too - thanks for sharing, mate! Cheers - Dai. hurricanemk1c 195
Thanks guys! Dai - The Lanc is in FS9, but if you can tell me how to put it into X, I'll be happy!

ddavid 149
Dai - The Lanc is in FS9, but if you can tell me how to put it into X, I'll be happy! Kieran - here is a list of files that I transferred from FS9 to FSX to get the Lanc ported. Move the following from FS9Gauges to FSXGauges: LancGaugesA LancGaugesB JF_Mosgauges Move the following from FS9Aircraft to FSXSimobjectsAirplanes: JF Sounds JF SoundsHerc JF_Lancaster_MkIIA JF_Lancaster_MkIIB JF_Lancaster_MkIIC JF_Lancaster_MkIID JF_LancasterA JF_LancasterB JF_LancasterC JF_LancasterD JF_LancasterBBMFA JF_LancasterBBMFB JF_LancasterBBMFC JF_LancasterBBMFD JF_Mosquito No Effects transfer but the Mosquito pdf might be useful. I also looked in the FS9Sound file, but couldn't find anything - I think all the Lanc sounds are in the Aircraft folder under JF Sounds and JF SoundsHerc. I can't guarantee that this will work for you - sorry! But I get a very reasonable result in FSX - apart from some details like the prop blur, which doesn't show in front of clouds and auto-gen objects. I think this is a known issue with FS9 to FSX porting. Lastly, please PLEASE, make back-ups before you start. I apologise now if what I have recommended doesn't work O.K. - so make sure you have all the correct copies to revert to!! Alternatively, you could get the Lanc, for FSX, from the cover disk of the latest PC Pilot.... When you've got the Lanc in FSX, let me know and I'll arrange for the Lanc Missions to be down-loaded. That goes for everyone, I guess! Cheers - Dai.
