Aircraft Aviation 2
Hi everyone, A few months back you may have noticed that I put up a poll regarding motorised instruments; how much you'd pay for them, what you'd expect, and so forth. Well, I'm very pleased to announce the release of me and my father's first (and hopefully only) business. https://sites.google.com/site/realitysimconversions/ We are a small business that specialise in Flight Simulation Hardware. We sell converted real-world instruments that have been modified for simulator use, and at a much lower price than other hardware sites. All of our products will require pre-purchase of the Opencockpits USBServos Card; but instruections are included on how to get everything working, even if you're not an exper in SIOC or anything like that. Just to re-iterate; we sell instruments and gauges that have been taken out of REAL serving aircraft, and covnert them for simulator use. No plastic/artificial parts; these are the REAL thing for your Sim. In no way is this site affiliated with Mutley'sHangar.com. All purchases take place via email/on Realitysimconversions.co.uk. Currently, we are not selling any items. we hope within the next month to have a stock of around six instruments. We do not make parts to order. Thank you very much for reading this unique post, and this business venture will NOT interfere with any of my other hardware projects nor slow them down. Because we don't make parts to order, we work at our own pace and can open/"close" whenerv. regards, Jack PS: Site is a Google site (used well within terms) and is still being constructed. Aircraft Aviation 2
Thanks very much Brian, Joe and Dai! @Joe - Ohh yes... A very difficult product to engineer but nonetheless we will try  . @Brian - Thanks for your interest! regarding the cost, yes I can certainly guarentee they will be cheaper than many alternatives... For example SimKits Gauges or FlightIllusion gauges... At least 25% less (almost always more). Please note though, that whilst our Instruments are "ready to use", you will need an Opencockpits USBServos Card: http://www.opencockpits.com/catalog/servo-motors-card-p-42.html?cPath=21_32 I appreciate it's £30.. However, the great news is that each card supports SIX Servos; therefore SIX Instruments. That means you'll only need one card for every six Gauges you buy. And don't worry you won't need much SIOC experience... All files and instructions are included free with purchase  . Kind regards, Jack
