allardjd 1,853
Ryanair passengers stage sit-in protest in Belgium http://my.earthlink.net/article/top?guid=20101117/d9efaa88-236d-43c8-8da0-a12c2ab8f7bd ...mostly French tourists returning from Morocco... ...refused to disembark when the plane landed about midnight in Liege. Ah, the French - always revolting. John

ddavid 149
Yep - I'd be 'enervé' if, instead of landing at Beauvais, which is just 80 km north of Paris, the plane was diverted to Liege, which is in Belgium and more than 250 km away! Clearly, Ryan Air had limited options on where it would be acceptable to land - possibly, they'd 'burned their boats' at airports nearer to Beauvais... Viv' la France! Santé! - Dai. IcedUpPitotTube 0
Kind of serves Ryanair right with their horrible service and punctuality. But yes, I have to say the French are always revolting. :th_smiles73:
hurricanemk1c 195
To be honest - I have no problems with Ryanair - I have flown many times with them and, yes, the annoucenments are annoying - but the only flights I have done are about 40 mins long so, don't know what a longer flight would be like
