mutley 4,498
Was it re-painted in real-life? I know your paints are historically accurate and you can clearly see the old reg under the roundel!
jankees 917
Well spotted. It is the same aircraft, which, after its time with the 9 th AF, was sold to Sweden after the war and flew with F4. Though the original markings were etched off, in the case of this aircraft, now 26152, the old markings remained very visible, The aircraft is still around btw, it was later sold to Nicaragua before returning to the US. It is currently undergoing a complete restoration if I'm not mistaken. More on this bird at a later stage.....
mutley 4,498
Wow, it's been around a bit! Interesting history.

jankees 917
I've changed a few more details, this should be it I think: and I mentioned she was sold to Nicaragua in 1953, where she flew as GN 91, quite looking possibly looking a bit like this:
mutley 4,498
I think the finished version is excellent, I don't think I have seen a livery as good as this, I especially like the way that the old reg shines in the sunlight. Well done JK.
