petermcleland 48
I saw a recommendation for a lights improvement for FS9 by Nick Needham and I installed them from the download file called "Nicks_Lightfix_V2.zip". I am very pleased with the results and here are a sequence of Traffic screenshots...The only edits are on the 1st, 8th and 9th, which have the contrast increased to show the star constellations. The package provides auto installers to install the new lights or restore the original lights...The "install new lights" offers installers for "Aircraft Lights", "Airport Lights", "Landing Lights" and "Tower and Ground Beacon Lights" with excellent instructions. Here are my shots...They are best viewed in a darkened room:- This one is edited with contrast to show the constellations Orion and Taurus My runway lights. Traffic about to line up. Landing lights are on for take-off. Into the murk... ...and crossing the apron Climbing out. Edited to show Orion. And again with an inbound Traffic aircraft. It is actually pouring with rain now and the runway comes into sight. Landing lights are picking out the trees below. Crossing the fence and... ...approaching the threshold. Touching down. Turning off by the Tower. Taxying in past the beach cabin...The Royal Caribbean cruise ship showing dimly out in the bay. Passing my office. Being marshalled into the "Small Freight" parking. Closed down for the offload. Thanks for looking
mutley 4,498
A lovely set of shots Peter, nice to see you back! I couldn't quite make out Orion but then I was never that good at astrology. Are the three aligned stars below the aircraft his belt? Cheers, Joe

Astronomy Joe Yes, the three aligned stars are his belt and the sword hangs down from that...The top left star is Betelgeuse (a red giant) and the bottom right star is Rigel (orientation for the Northern Hemisphere...If you look in New Zealand it is upside down).
