hurricanemk1c 195
Hi all! Japan AirLines (JAL)'s first 787 has flown. Details are - JA822 J787-846, C/N 34832 and L/N 23. Here is a photo, with the orginal link : Linky http://www.airliners.net/photo/Japan-Airlines--/Boeing-787-846-Dreamliner/1875764/L/&sid=fbdf71e9b7c017abf6300a5665686834 But my question (again) is - what's wrong with the reg? It seems a bit wrong, with a blue W showing through. Are JAL asking help from the Wombles  ? Your tubeliner person, Kieran
allardjd 1,853
Odd shot - not much flaps for a landing (very light?) and not enough pitch to be a take-off photo. John
hurricanemk1c 195
Prehaps a Touch and Go (Bumps) John?
ddavid 149
This photo shows a lot more flap: ... and the photographer, Jimmy Polivka, remarks ZA117 returns from it's maiden flight on a dreary day in the Pacific Northwest. Notice that the temporary Boeing registration has blown off revealing the future JAL number... By the way, what do you think of this?!? Cheers - Dai.

hurricanemk1c 195
Welcome PilotGuy! I'd be cautious about those dates - the 787 has slipped so many times (although I'm sure it'll do it this time)
