He has been tasked with organising this years Banger Run taking place in September this year, in aid of 'Help for Heroes'. Last year there were 15 teams and they raised around £20,000 for the cause. The event which is NOT a race is open to anyone as long as the rules are adhered to. The 25 cars made it around the Banger Run circuit in Europe and so far the joint effort has raised in excess of £25,000 which will go to 'Help for Heroes'. A big 'WELL DONE' to all the participants for getting around the route in one piece and raising so much needed cash for such a worthy cause. This was his reply- 'Dad!, thanks for wanting to go but it is basically, late night drinking, late night camping, looooong days driving. So I doubt you would make it. It is what it say's on the tin.
