hurricanemk1c 195
Now, I'm sure most of you are pretty sick of hearing about this wedding, but this part is really interesting! Weather permitting, the flypast will pass over Buckingham Palace at 13.30. On the day of the Royal Wedding the flypast formation will comprise a Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane in the lead, all of which are provided by RAF BBMF based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire. The second element of the flypast, in a box formation Looks decend enough to me!
allardjd 1,853
I'm sure most of you are pretty sick of hearing about this wedding... Not at all. Good people, those two. Sounds as if the flyby may be IFR, however. Actually, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't risk those AC if the WX is not decent. John
MartinW 0
There will be some fast jets following them. Tornado's and Typhoon's. They've been practising today.

hurricanemk1c 195
Am a bit confused as to which Spitfire made the display - looked like a PR bird. Sure it's PM631
JD_LincsUK 0
Unusually, I didn't see any of the BBMF crates flying over - or even hear them. Heard the noisy jets, mind JD
