dgor 0
Hi all, For me at least, and I'm sure a lot of others out there, it's great to see "behind the scenes" of the airline industry and see what it's like to work on a day-to-day basis in the flight deck. This is especially true if you happen to be a pilot wannabe (or is it gonnabe? ) like myself. There are two blogs written by pilots about "the life" which I always enjoy reading, and I thought I might share them with you: Kent Wien: http://kentwien.blogspot.com/ - American Airlines 757 pilot based in Boston. Creator of the amazing Vertigo video. True legend :???: Seriously though, does great trip reports and the photos never fail to impress. You can access his Flickr and Youtube accounts from his site too, http://www.kentwien.com Dave: http://flightlevel390.blogspot.com/ - A320 series pilot from Phoenix, Arizona. Haven't read what airline he flies for (I'm sure it's in there but it goes back to 2004) but I get the feeling it's Northwest Airlines, judging by the number of trips to Anchorage and Minneanapolis. Whilst sometimes less in-depth than Kent's there's a lot of talent as far as writing goes, and some nice photos too. If you know of any other blogs/sites in a similar vain please to share them! They're always great reads. Dave :-) (updated to fix the fact that both links were the same. D'oh!)
