A USAF general whose name I don't recall used to have a sign over his desk that said, "There's no excuse for flying through a thunderstorm in peacetime." The shots are up to your usual standard - superb. The landing lights look kind of intense - maybe the lightning did overcharge the batteries. That was a great aircraft, wasn't it? There are still a few flying. I got a chance to crawl through one (with close supervision) a few years ago. It takes a leap though, to imagine it while sucking oxygen through a rubber mask at 20 degrees below zero. John Link to post Share on other sites
